Sports & Leisure - Bromsgrove Golf Course
Quadrant tees-off at Bromsgrove Golf Centre
In a move taken to enhance its overall security measures, a privately
owned family business has chosen a CCTV surveillance and digital recording
system supplied by national CCTV and Access Control specialists, Quadrant
Video Systems Plc.
Situated in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside, the Bromsgrove
Golf Centre features an 18 hole golf course, 18 hole putting green, huge
practice bunker, comprehensively stocked golf shop and one of the Midlands
largest floodlit driving ranges, boasting 41 covered bays.
Designed to provide an effective visual deterrent, Quadrant’s
system deploys high-resolution colour cameras, supported by 24-hour digital
recording to secure coverage of the centre’s main approach road,
150 space car park, Clubhouse reception area, golf shop and golf-bag drop
area.
With the centre attracting over 300 visitors each day, the system has
been devised to prevent the theft of golf bags and clubs, whilst keeping
a watchful eye on visitors’ parked vehicles. Commenting on the new system, Adam
Morris, Bromsgrove Golf Club’s Director said, “ We wanted the
best system possible and after discussions with a host of major installers
and an on-site demonstration to see what we could achieve, we chose Quadrant’s
engineered solution to help us prevent a variety of crime. After only
a short time we can see that the system is definitely acting as a deterrent.”
